camp letter

Dear Todd .

you are an amazing parent helper. Thank you for helping us down the caves and setting up the amazing race. Your efforts were amazing. Thank you for giving up your job to be on our camp.

Sincerely,
Jimmy Macken

camp 2 !!!

  Te Urewera / Camp Kaitawa
There I was in the dark and in damp surroundings. I am covered in warm woolen clothing. foot after foot we trudged  up a dimly lit path up a steep hill that seemed like it led to nowhere -  big hairy wetas at my feet, spider webs in my hair , sweat running down my face and mud covering my shoes. But wait where can i be ? I was   up Lou’s Lookout a beautiful place with a stunning walking track  in Te Urewera with some pretty amazing glow worms  all around us. It was unbelievable how some glow worms live in caves but most of them live in the bush. When my group got to the top, we saw a jaw dropping  glimpse of Te Urewera and Lake Waikaremoana.  The  big effort was was really worth it in the end.

Paora winitana Visits      PARKVALE School
At 9AM July 30Th At Parkvale school, The famous basketball player Paora Winitana had surprised the kids by Coming to the school to Have A Visit at ParkVale assembly time. Paora had talked to the students about the 5 Olympic Values Pursuit Excellent,Respect, fair play,Friendship and Enjoyment.

Paora made kids laugh using The teachers at the school (Kieren Moriarty,Yvette Pohe and Andrew Dickson). He also got some kids up there names were navjot and keisha had to perform some tricks they looked great up on stage .
it was time to go but wait poara had a different idea he thought  it wouldn't be a good time spent with out
A selfie it was a mighty fine one too. He also gave a student named Lucy Macken a lot of cards that had all the Olympic values which then She could give to the teacher to give to the students!  Well that's it for today and us reporter will see you guys a another day!

Reflection
What was something you found tricky and why did you find it tricky?
At first it was tricky to make it look like a new paper writing because it was all muddled up.

What are you most proud of?
The way I made it look like a real news story.

What is 1 thing you need to improve upon?

Building Learning Power - Reflecting on line throw - P.E

What went well? Why? How?
What went well was my team was using their Noticing muscle so that they could tell us where we should throw it.

How did it feel as a Learner when playing line throw?
It felt weird because when you were throwing  it you didn't know where
You were going to throw it.

One thing I could improve on is …..

knowing my left and right so i know what they mean so I would know where to go.
